Individual Therapy

In eating disorder treatment we will initially focus on increased understanding of your experience and yourself.

Each session will be tailored to you individually and what your unique needs are. We will address issues such as restoring your relationship with food, improving body image, managing underlying emotional issues, and developing healthier coping skills.

Throughout your therapy we will check in on progress towards your goals and whether or not your needs in therapy are being met.

Family-Based Treatment (FBT)

Family-Based Treatment (FBT) is the most effective treatment for children and adolescents struggling with eating disorders and is the best alternative to residential care.

FBT is an evidence-based approach that actively involves the family in the recovery process. By empowering parents to take an active role in their child's treatment, FBT helps restore healthy eating patterns and address underlying family dynamics.

Through parent coaching, families learn how to support their child in the home environment, providing a consistent and nurturing approach to recovery.

Meal Support

Meal support involves the co-experience of eating together so that reactions can be addressed and processed in real time.

Together we work to understand the emotional experience and challenges connected with nourishment including food anxiety, hunger and satiety cues, and behaviors used during a meal.
